Lakeside Laps for Brain Injury Awareness is an annual community event organized by the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington (BIAWW) in partnership with Run Waterloo. The event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for brain injury survivors and their families, supporting advocacy, education, and empowerment programs in the region. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at the scenic Columbia Lake in Waterloo, Ontario.

Course Details
The course loops around Columbia Lake, utilizing primarily paved, flat paths ideal for road running and walking. The terrain is accessible for all ages and abilities, with minimal elevation change. Participants will enjoy picturesque lake views throughout the route, and the course is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Only service dogs are permitted on the course.
