FOXSTRIDE 2026
Foxstride takes place on May 3, 2026 in London, Ontario and is presented by Persistence Racing. This is a new addition to Persistence Racing's calendar for 2026, staged out of Western Alumni Stadium — a compact, spectator-friendly venue on Philip Aziz Avenue that puts runners and families close to the finish line action.
The one-day event offers a range of formats. The 5K Community Run starts at 9:00 a.m. A headline feature is the Double Dash: runners contest a 5 km qualifying heat followed by a 3.2 km A/B final (heats and finals are staggered through the late morning). The timed 3 Hour Endurance Run begins at 10:20 a.m. and runs through 1:20 p.m.; organizers set the endurance course as a repeated lap (approximately 440 m per lap). Younger athletes can join the Kids' Touchdown Runs — short, untimed sprints across the football field at several morning time slots.
What sets Foxstride apart is the stadium-centric format and the Double Dash concept, which rewards both speed in a heat and tactical racing in a shorter final. Registration includes race essentials for the 5K, Double Dash and 3 Hour events: bib and timing, a custom finisher's medal, event t-shirt, downloadable race photos and on-course hydration. Persistence Racing directs a portion of proceeds to the Children's Health Foundation, continuing the organizer’s fundraising efforts in support of pediatric care.
