The Trash Dash is an annual trail walk/run event held in the Midhurst Forest Tract near Barrie, featuring scenic 1KM, 5KM, and 10KM routes. Participants enjoy trails along the river, hills, and a train trestle while supporting local environmental initiatives.

Community involvement is encouraged through litter cleanup efforts prior to race day, with prizes for participants who submit cleanup photos. Proceeds benefit Clean Up Barrie and Barrie Families Unite.
