The Tour du Lac Brome Sun Life is a celebrated annual running event held in the picturesque village of Knowlton, Quebec. With a history spanning several decades, this event has become a staple in the Eastern Townships, attracting over 2,500 participants each year. The 2026 edition is scheduled for June 13 and 14, offering a festive, community-driven atmosphere that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Participants can choose from a wide range of distances, from a 1 km kids' race to the full marathon challenge, as well as unique two-day combined events. The courses wind through scenic landscapes, including both dirt roads and paved routes, showcasing the natural beauty and charm of the region. The Tour du Lac Brome Sun Life features a variety of courses that traverse the rolling hills and lakeside roads of the Eastern Townships. The Chemin de Campagne routes (6 km, 12 km, 21.1 km) on Saturday emphasize rural, unpaved terrain, while Sunday’s events focus more on paved routes around the lake and through the village. The marathon challenge (Défi 42.2 km) combines both days’ half marathon courses for a full marathon experience.
