The NERD Run 2025

The NERD Run (Neuroscience Education, Research, and Discovery) is an annual event organized by the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute at the University of Alberta. It raises awareness and supports brain and mental health research. The 2025 event celebrates its 10th anniversary with activities for all levels and abilities.

Participants can choose from walk or run distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km, taking place in the scenic Edmonton river valley. Early registration offers exclusive perks including a free NERD Run t-shirt.
