Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run 2025 is a family-friendly event held annually at the Edmonton Valley Zoo in Edmonton, Alberta. Now in its fourth year, the run brings together participants of all ages to support the Valley Zoo Development Society. The event is designed to foster community spirit while raising funds for important zoo projects, such as animal habitat improvements and enrichment materials.

The Fun Run offers a welcoming atmosphere, with multiple race distances to accommodate everyone from toddlers to seasoned runners. In addition to the in-person races, a virtual option allows supporters from across the region to participate and contribute to the cause. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the zoo, making it a meaningful way to combine fitness, family fun, and philanthropy.

The courses at Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run 2025 feature a mix of paved paths and some gravel or natural terrain within the Edmonton Valley Zoo grounds. The routes are designed to be accessible and relatively flat, making them suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Elevation changes are minimal, ensuring a comfortable experience for families, children, and casual runners. All races start and finish at the Edmonton Valley Zoo amphitheater, providing a scenic and engaging backdrop for the event.
