The Lightning Bolt is an annual event held at Point Pelee National Park, featuring multiple race options including a 5K/10K Walk or Run, a Kids' 1K run, and a 400m kids' dash. Participants enjoy benefits such as free entry to the park, chip-timed results managed by WRACE, race shirts for early bird registrants, and post-race refreshments and awards. The event supports local community initiatives through UMEI Christian High School.

• 5K Lightning Run, 5 kilometers, approximately $60 entry fee

• Kids' 1K Run, 1 kilometer, approximately $25 entry fee, ages 12 and under
• Kids' 400m Dash, 400 meters, approximately $25 entry fee, ages 12 and under
• Family 5K Lightning Run/Walk, 5 kilometers, approximately $150 for 2 adults and up to 3 children under 18
