The Great Big Cookie Run returns to Lansdowne Park for 2026 — and yes, Girl Guide Cookies at the finish line are still firmly on the menu. This beloved community event welcomes runners, walkers, and rollers of all ages and ability levels to take on a 5K or Kids 1K through the heart of Ottawa.

Every finisher is rewarded with a sweet treat: Girl Guide Cookies on course and at the finish line, plus a finisher's medal, personalized race bib, professional chip timing, and post-race refreshments. Since the race falls near Halloween, a costume contest adds to the festive atmosphere — dress up for your chance to win prizes. Optional add-ons include a technical shirt and an iTab ribbon hanger.

The Great Big Cookie Run supports the Girl Guides of Canada, making this feel-good event even sweeter. Choose the Green Bib and a portion of your registration fee goes directly to the Girl Guides in lieu of a medal — a meaningful way to make your finish count.
