Sweater Weather 10K & 5K Canmore 2026 is a fall trail running event at the Canmore Nordic Centre Stadium in Canmore, Alberta. Hosted by rnest endurance, the race invites runners to choose a 10K or 5K route through mountain forest trails, with a playful autumn theme and a best sweater contest.

The event blends approachable trail running with a relaxed community atmosphere. Runners can expect chip timing, aid station support, race-day photos, cozy swag, and a post-race finish area with pie and warm drinks.

Both Sweater Weather distances use double-track dirt trails at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The routes wind through alpine forest with a moderate amount of mountain elevation, making the event accessible but still distinctly trail-focused.

The 5K course has an aid station around the 3.5 km mark, while the 10K course has aid support around 3.5 km and 7.5 km. The race has a 2.5-hour cutoff, and adult runners are required to carry bear spray under Canmore Nordic Centre rules.
