The Drumheller Wild Rose Women's Triathlon and Walk/Run is a celebrated annual event in Alberta, dedicated to empowering women and girls through multisport participation. Course Details
The triathlon begins with a pool swim at the Drumheller Aquaplex. The Super Sprint features a 300m swim, while the Sprint and Team Sprint offer a 750m swim. The bike course is an open-road loop: 10km for Super Sprint and 19.5km for Sprint/Team Sprint, with gentle rolling terrain typical of Drumheller's river valley. The run is an out-and-back route along a mixed pavement and gravel pathway, with the Super Sprint covering 2.5km and the Sprint/Team Sprint 5km. The 5km walk/run uses the same pathway, offering a scenic and accessible route for all participants. Elevation changes are moderate, making the course approachable for beginners while still providing a challenge.
