The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women is a celebrated national event series dedicated to supporting women's mental health initiatives across Canada. Since its inception, the series has raised over $23 million for local mental health programs, making a significant impact in communities nationwide. In Ottawa, the event has contributed more than $2.6 million to The Royal's women's mental health programs, directly benefiting local women and families.

Course Details
All races start and finish at Hog's Back Park in Ottawa, Ontario. The park is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, featuring a mix of paved park paths and natural trails. The terrain is mostly flat with gentle rolling sections, making it accessible for runners and walkers of all abilities. Participants can expect a combination of shaded areas, open parkland, and views of the park's iconic waterfalls and green spaces. The 1K course is designed for children and families, while the 5K and 10K routes offer a longer, yet still approachable, challenge. Surfaces are primarily paved with some potential for gravel or packed dirt sections, depending on the specific route chosen for each distance.
