
Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women - Hamilton 2026
The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women is a celebrated national event series dedicated to supporting women's mental health programs across Canada. Since its inception in 2013, the series has grown to include 18 cities, raising over $23 million for local mental health initiatives. The event is designed to foster community, promote physical activity, and raise awareness and funds for women's mental health services.
The Hamilton edition of the Run for Women takes place at Confederation Park's EDGEWATER PAVILION, offering a scenic and accessible venue for participants. The event is more than just a race; it is a movement that brings together individuals, families, and teams to support vital mental health programs at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, including the Women's Health Concerns Clinic and the Womankind Addiction Centre. Course Details
All race courses are set within Confederation Park, Hamilton, utilizing the park's paved pathways. The terrain is flat and smooth, making it accessible for runners and walkers of all abilities, including strollers and wheelchairs. The 1K, 5K, and 10K routes are designed to showcase the park's waterfront and green spaces, with minimal elevation change and no significant hills. The event is classified as a road race, and detailed course maps are typically provided closer to race day.
