Sault International Festival of Races 2025

The Sault International Festival of Races returns on September 27-28, 2025, after a six-year hiatus. This scenic running event features multiple races, including the signature 5 Mile Bridge Run, which offers runners breathtaking views of the Soo Locks, St. Mary's Rapids, and passing freighters. All races start and finish near Lake Superior State University and downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Runners do not require passports as the courses turn around before Canadian customs.

- 5 Mile Bridge Run: 5 miles, starts Sept 27 at 8:00 AM EDT, entry fee $30 before July 1.
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, starts Sept 28 at 8:00 AM EDT, entry fee $40 before July 1.
- 5K Run: 5 km, starts Sept 28 at 8:00 AM EDT, entry fee $25 before July 1.
- 5K Walk: 5 km, starts Sept 28 at 8:00 AM EDT, entry fee $25 before July 1.
- All races are road events starting and finishing near Lake Superior State University and downtown Sault Ste. Marie.
