The Santa Shuffle began in 1990 in Edmonton, Alberta, as a fundraising event for local Salvation Army initiatives. It has since expanded to a national event held in various cities across Canada. The event includes a 5 km Fun Run and a 1 km Elf Walk, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. Funds raised support local Salvation Army programs.
This family-friendly event encourages festive attire and offers a course designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities. Participants can run, walk, or shuffle at their own pace in support of local Salvation Army initiatives.
