The "Run With Responders 5K" is an annual event celebrating and honoring local first responders, including Police, Fire, Essex-Windsor EMS, CBSA, military, and healthcare professionals. The event is open to everyone, not just first responders.

Proceeds from the run support the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario, and the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund.

- Start and finish at Windsor Firefighters Monument at Windsor Civic Terrace
- Route on Riverfront Trail west through Dieppe Park, past Legacy Beacon and Streetcar No. 351
- Passes through Windsor Sculpture Park
- Displays of Police, Fire, EMS, and CBSA vehicles along the course
- Road surface
- Typical late July weather: high ~28°C, low ~18°C, high humidity

- First 400 registrants receive finisher's medal and limited-edition t-shirt
- Age group awards for 1st place in each 5-year division plus overall male and female

- Cash prizes for social running clubs with most participants ($100 first place, $50 second)
