
Run/Walk/Ruck for Mental Wellness 2025
The Run, Walk & Ruck for Mental Wellness is an annual event aimed at raising funds to support organizations focused on mental health challenges. Participants can choose to run, walk, or ruck (walk with a weighted backpack) various distances. The event partners with local charities, such as the Canadian Mental Health Association, to provide mental health support and programs within the community.
The event features both in-person and virtual race options, offering distances from 5K to 21.1K (half marathon), and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. It promotes mental wellness through physical activity in a community-oriented atmosphere.

Course Details
* Mixed race surface: primarily roads and paved paths with a short gravel section under 100 meters * Course runs through and around Wascana Centre * 5K runners take an out-and-back route * 15K runners complete the full course * 21.1K runners run a double loop * Course may not be wheelchair-friendly due to curbs, gravel, and sidewalks
