The Reesor 50 (May 15–17, 2026) is a weekend trail-running festival staged at Reesor Ranch near Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and organized by PSKY Running. The event centres on a 50‑mile mountain-course that loops around Reesor Lake and the surrounding benchlands, and it brings runners and crews together for dinner, camping and awards across three days in mid‑May.
The weekend format spreads activity over Friday to Sunday. Friday evening hosts check‑in and the Sundown 10 plus a post‑race dinner and live music. Saturday is race day: 50‑mile check‑in in the morning with the Reesor 50 starting at 8:00 a.m. and the Reesor Mountain Marathon following at 9:00 a.m.; Saturday evening features awards and festivities. Sunday morning finishes the weekend with a communal breakfast for participants and volunteers.
Reesor stands out for its ranch setting and festival atmosphere — expect camping at the ranch, live music, evening meals and a social finish line. Race entry for the Reesor 50 and Mountain Marathon includes the Saturday dinner (8 oz New York strip, baked potato and salad or a vegetarian stuffed pepper option). There’s also a Sundown 10 run-and-volunteer option that discounts fees by 25% in exchange for a Saturday volunteer shift; volunteers receive free Saturday breakfast and dinner. On-course features include long, flowy alpine singletrack around Reesor Lake, gravel and bench roads, technical descents, stream crossings on the Old Baldy section, crew access points and multiple drop‑bag locations.
Registration is open through the organiser’s Race Roster page and the event is capped at 300 runners. Note the refund windows: full refund available until Feb 1, 2026; 50% race‑fee refund until Apr 1, 2026; no refunds after Apr 1.
