The Run for Vaughan is an annual event supporting the development of Vaughan's first hospital and healthcare facility. Established in 2003 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMJ Canada), the event has raised over $1.5 million to date. It attracts both serious and casual runners and walkers from Vaughan, the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond.
Participants and their families enjoy a day of fitness and community spirit with multiple race distances around the Baitul Islam Mosque area.
