

Lakeside Laps for Brain Injury Awareness 2025
Lakeside Laps for Brain Injury Awareness is a community fundraising event hosted by the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington (BIAWW) in partnership with Run Waterloo. The event offers a variety of race distances suitable for all ages and abilities, set around the scenic Columbia Lake, with proceeds supporting advocacy, education, and empowerment programs for individuals living with brain injuries and their families.
Participants enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with finisher medals, children's discounts, optional T-shirts, and post-race activities including prizes, food, refreshments, and musical entertainment. The course welcomes service dogs only and encourages family participation with stroller allowances.
