Course Details
The Klondike Ultra courses wind through the Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park, featuring a mix of sandy climbs, moss-covered forest floors, and single-track trails. The 100 km course boasts approximately 2,880 meters of elevation gain, challenging runners with rolling sand dunes and technical forested sections. Participants will traverse historic routes, cross creeks, and run alongside the Athabasca River. The terrain is varied, with sections of soft sand, hard-packed trail, and occasional muddy patches, providing a true test of endurance and trail running skill.
