The Kitchener Kids with Cancer Run is an annual fundraising event supporting the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). Celebrating its 12th anniversary in 2025, the event provides a fun, safe, and healthy athletic experience for the Waterloo Region and beyond while supporting local charitable causes.

Participants can choose from multiple race distances, including 5K, 10K, and a new 200m Kids Run for children aged 7 and under. The event features free technical t-shirts for the first 700 registrants, finisher medals, post-race refreshments, pledge prizes, and musical entertainment.

- Course mostly on dirt trails within Kiwanis Park
- 5K route: one loop with an out-and-back section
- 10K route: two loops of the 5K course
- Each kilometer clearly marked
- Water stations: 1 for 5K, 3 for 10K
- Certified distances, sanctioned by Athletics Ontario
- Time limit: 10 min per km
- Strollers and passengers free with registration; must be accompanied by participant in another sub-event
- Animals allowed in park but not in run/walk
- Parking available on site
- Post-race food, refreshments, and music free with entry; additional food sold by onsite vendors
