Established in 2016, the event takes place every Saturday of the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, offering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for participants. Participants enjoy a scenic course that highlights the natural beauty of Cameron Lake and the vibrant fall foliage. Course Details
The Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot course is a flat, out-and-back route that follows the Kawartha Rail Trail. The terrain is primarily gravel and screenings, with 98% of the course on unpaved trail, making it ideal for both runners and walkers seeking a softer surface. The starting elevation is approximately 700 feet, with a gentle rise to a high point of 725 feet, ensuring a fast and accessible course for all fitness levels. Participants are treated to scenic views of Cameron Lake and the surrounding autumn landscape throughout the race.
