Don Doan Dash is an annual 5K and 10K race hosted by the Brampton Benders Running Club to support ALS Canada and honor its founding member Don Doan. This flat and fast course, with only a few small hills, welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

The event begins and ends at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre, featuring water stations and facilities to ensure a comfortable race day experience. Strollers are permitted, while pets and roller blades are prohibited for safety. All participants receive medals, and awards are given to top finishers.

• Start and finish at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre, 1660 North Park Road, Brampton, Ontario, L6S 4B4
• Route loops around Professor’s Lake with a short out-and-back section
• Total elevation gain of 21 meters
• Water stations at 2.5K and 5K markers
• Washrooms and changing facilities available
• Parking at recreation centre and nearby locations

• Flat and fast 5K and 10K race with minimal elevation
• Strollers allowed (start near rear)
• Pets and roller blades prohibited
• 1.5-hour time limit accommodating walkers
