This program unites open water swimmers and swimrunners for organized group training sessions, focusing on endurance and skill development in the disciplines of open water swimming and swimrun. Led by Ian Feldman, former national-level swimmer and open water swim advocate, the training offers tailored workouts ranging from 500 meters to 5 kilometers.
Training sessions run from June 29 to August 26, 2025, with swim workouts scheduled 1 to 3 times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at Cherry Beach in Toronto. Safety protocols require swimming in pairs, mandatory use of bathing caps and buoys, and wetsuits for beginners.
