The Blackburn FunRun is a family-friendly event held as part of the Blackburn FunFair. It features 1K and 2K cross-country routes designed for runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. In 2025, the 5K option will not be available. The event encourages outdoor activity while supporting local charities and organizations.

* Out-and-back cross-country route on grassy and uneven surfaces * Starts on the fairgrounds soccer field behind Blackburn Hamlet Community Centre * Passes through Gloucester Allotment Garden * Marshals and signage guide participants along the course

• Finisher medals awarded to all registered participants
• Ribbons for top three male and female finishers per event
• Parents/guardians can run the 1K with children at no extra cost
• Post-run refreshments provided
• Self-timed event
• Strollers permitted despite uneven grassy terrain
