Apex Adventure Challenge 2025

The Apex Adventure Challenge is Sudbury's first adventure race designed especially for beginners. Teams of 2 or 3 will navigate a course including canoeing, mountain biking, and trekking using map and compass skills. The race covers 30-45 km and takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to complete.

Participants experience a combination of marked routes and unmarked sections traversing Sudbury Region's diverse terrain. It's a fun, team-based outdoor challenge welcoming all skill levels with categories for all-male, all-female, coed, masters, and families with racers under 13.

- Mountain Biking: 20-30 km
- Trekking: 6-9 km
- Paddling: 4-7 km
- Teams navigate via map and compass
- Professionally designed and managed course
- Includes park entry fees, chip timing, bib numbers, and bike plates
- Custom swag items such as t-shirt, socks, and cap included
