The 5K Tartan Run is an annual event held as part of the Greater Moncton Highland Games & Scottish Festival. Participants are encouraged to wear plaid and join in a 5-kilometer walk or run to support the festival. All ages are welcome, and participants receive a made-in-New Brunswick pewter medal.

The event features a scenic route starting near the festival's food trucks, winding through Riverview, and returning via the trail system.
