The 2026 Muskoka Marathon takes place October 3–4, 2026 in Bracebridge, Ontario. Athletics Ontario sanctions the event and organizers stage starts and finishes from Santa's Village. The race returns as a two-day fall weekend that highlights Muskoka's autumn colours and riverfront roads.

The weekend separates distances across two days: Saturday, October 3 hosts the 5K (8:00 AM) and 10K (7:30 AM); Sunday, October 4 features the half marathon (8:00 AM) and full marathon (7:30 AM). Races run on paved roads with the full marathon completed as a double out-and-back loop; the 10K is a single out-and-back repeated for that distance. Marathon entries are capped, and full-field logistics include a complimentary shuttle for marathon participants.

What sets Muskoka apart is a combination of scenery and speed. The certified Boston‑qualifying layout follows the Muskoka River and is relatively flat (roughly 55 m total elevation change), making it a strong choice for runners chasing personal bests. Organizers also highlight community elements — spectator access at parks along the route, on-course hydration every 2.5 km, and a charity partnership with Campfire Circle that gives runners a local cause to support.
