2026 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Albion Hills takes place on September 5 in Caledon, Ontario and is organized by 5 Peaks. Set inside Albion Hills Conservation Park on the banks of the Humber River, the event showcases the rolling, wooded terrain that draws local trail crews and weekend explorers alike.
Race morning offers multiple distance options to suit different goals and abilities. Distances for adults include a Sport Run (7.5 km), an Enduro (15 km) and a Grit option (22.75 km). Kids’ events run alongside the adults with a 1 km Kids’ Run and a 3 km Kids’ Challenge. Packet pickup opens at 7:45 a.m.; the Grit field starts at 8:30 a.m., hikers/power pacers at 8:40 a.m., kids’ events at 8:45 a.m. and 9:05 a.m., the Enduro at 9:30 a.m. and the Sport run at 10:00 a.m. Awards follow once results are compiled.
What sets Albion Hills apart is its technical singletrack, winding climbs and descents, and riverside scenery — all packed into a compact looped layout that keeps spectators close. The race operates as a cup-free event: water and electrolyte drinks are available at the start/finish and at on-course aid stations, but runners should carry their own bottle or bladder if they expect to be out longer than an hour. Swag and optional finisher medals are available for purchase at registration, and all participants receive park admission included with their race fee on race day.
Interested runners can register through the event’s Race Roster entry page; swag and finisher-medal purchases are added during registration. Volunteers are also invited to sign up through the event’s volunteer link to help on race day.
