The Solstice 5K is an annual event celebrating the summer solstice, encouraging participants to "race against the sunset." The 2025 edition offers both in-person and virtual options, with all participants receiving a pair of New Balance Fuel Cell Pvlse V1 shoes and a finisher's medal. Shoe sizes are limited, so early registration is recommended.

The in-person event takes place at Kew Gardens on Queen Street East in Toronto. Participants are encouraged to share their photos using #Solstice5K and tag @runningroom. The virtual event allows participants to run from any location within Canada.
