Tillsonburg Running with the Bulls 2026

Tillsonburg Running with the Bulls 2026 takes place July 18 in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Organized by Tamara Bull and a team of local volunteers, the event grew out of an effort by an organizer affected by cancer who wanted to support families facing the same struggle. All profits from the run are directed to families in need, and the event partners with the Kindred Foundation to support children, adolescents and young adults in their fight against cancer.

The single-day event on July 18 includes a 10 km run (8:00 a.m.), a 5 km run (8:30 a.m.), a 1 km Kiddie Bull Charge for kids (9:30 a.m.) and a 2 km Memorial Walk (10:00 a.m.). Race kit pick up opens at 6:30 a.m. at Future Transfer (Clarke St entrance), 281 Tillson Ave; prior pick-up can be arranged by emailing the organizers. Awards are scheduled after the races and official timing is provided by a local timing company.

What sets Running with the Bulls apart is its tight community focus: entries fund local families dealing with cancer, students can earn community service hours, and organizers publish age-group prizes across many brackets. The 5K and 10K include a t-shirt, bib and medal with registration, and this year features new cash prizes for top finishers in both the 5K and 10K. The race runs on town streets with plenty of spectator access, and free parking is available on surrounding side streets.

Registration opens December 22 and follows stepped pricing with an early-entry tier through May 8 and higher tiers May 9–June 27 and June 28–July 17. Visit the official site to register, check current availability and arrange prior kit pick-up.

• Official timing is provided by a local timing company (Enfield Timing Ltd. listed as timing provider).
• Free parking is available on surrounding town side streets near the race area.
