The Big Halloween Run is an annual themed running event held in partnership with Striderz Run Club, designed for participants of all ages and abilities, including strollers and leashed dogs. The 2025 edition occurs on Thursday, October 30th, at Vancouver's Olympic Village, featuring a festive 1km dash and a 5km run/walk along the scenic seawall with opportunities for prizes, vendors, and fun for the entire community.

Participants enjoy a welcoming, low-stress course with minimal inclines, water stations, and entertainment. The event includes a personalized running bib with a "Halloween Name," a finisher's souvenir, and a chance to win door prizes while supporting Covenant House Vancouver, an organization serving youth experiencing homelessness.
