Course Details
The Swan City Half Marathon course features a mix of paved park trails and roadways, starting and finishing near the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion in Muskoseepi Park. The half marathon route loops around Bear Creek Reservoir, includes a segment through a new trail by the hospital, and follows the Muskoseepi Trail south to a turnaround point before repeating the loop. The terrain is predominantly flat with gentle rolling sections, making it accessible for runners of all abilities. The 10 km and 5 km courses also utilize the park's scenic trails, while the 1 km fun run is designed for families and children, remaining within the park's boundaries. The course offers beautiful views of the reservoir and parkland, especially vibrant during the fall season.
