Run Ridge Run 2026

Run Ridge Run takes place on February 21, 2026 in Port Moody, British Columbia and is presented by Coast Mountain Trail Running as part of its coastal BC trail series. The race returns as a winter entry on the calendar, slotting in ahead of the longer Diez Vista event and giving local and visiting runners an accessible way to sample the same ridge-and-lake terrain in a shorter format.

The event offers two distance options — a 13 km and a 25 km — both run on trail around the Port Moody lake corridor. Races are held on a single day, with courses designed to retrace much of the famed Diez Vista routing but in shorter, more approachable segments for families, club runners and those stepping up from road distances.

What makes Run Ridge Run stand out is its lakeside course through Sasamat and Buntzen provincial park areas combined with Coast Mountain Trail Running’s community-first operations. A portion of every entry ($5–$10) is donated to local trails and search-and-rescue organizations, the promoter plants one tree per runner through an Indigenous Lands Fraser Valley reforestation program, and the series emphasizes carbon-neutral, zero-waste practices.
