Run Like HECS 2025 is the third annual fundraiser organized by the Halifax Early Childhood School, a non-profit preschool. This family-friendly event supports the school's growth and maintenance while offering races suitable for all ages and abilities.

The event features multiple distances including a 5km run/walk for adults and shorter untimed children's races, all set within the beautiful Point Pleasant Park in Halifax.

* Start at Point Pleasant Park lower parking lot near Black Rock Beach * Trail and paved park paths throughout the course * Race starts staggered: 9:00 AM 5km, 10:00 AM 400m kids dash, 10:30 AM 1km race * Bib pick-up on Friday before race day at Running Room on Spring Garden Road, Halifax
