Rockcut Ultra 50K & Half Marathon 2025

Hosted by Outport REACH, a Twillingate-based not-for-profit, the Rockcut Ultra and Half+ Marathon is equally challenging as it is beautiful. This trail running event showcases the rugged North Atlantic coastline, scenic historic fishing communities, and immerses runners in the charm and warmth of Twillingate.

Runners experience a variety of terrains from rugged single-track coastal trails to forested areas, bogs, and roads winding through scenic outport communities that highlight Newfoundland and Labrador's natural beauty and culture.

- Distances: Ultra 50K, Half+ 23K, Shortcut 9K

- Ultra race elevation gain/loss: 5,328 ft
- Half+ race elevation gain/loss: 2,909 ft
- 7 aid stations on Ultra route; 4 on Half+ with water, electrolytes, and food
- Finish line offers food and water
- Post-race celebration in a church; BYOB
- Full refund (less fees) if canceled before July 31; no refunds after; bib transfers allowed
- Swag bags can be picked up by friends if participant cannot attend
