The Larry Nicholas Memorial Run is an 8.2 km cross-country race held in Mission Creek Regional Park, Kelowna, BC. Established in memory of Larry Nicholas, an avid athlete who passed away in the mid-1980s, the event has been a staple of the Kelowna Running Club and Interior Running Association cross-country series for over 35 years. Proceeds from the race support a scholarship fund in Larry's honor.
The event features a main 8.2 km race and a shorter kids' fun run, both held in November. It is known for its scenic three-loop course near the Mission Creek EECO Centre, with facilities including water stations, washrooms, and first aid near the start/finish area.
