The Midsummer 8K is a flat and fast road race held in Kelowna, BC, following a scenic out-and-back route along the shore of Lake Okanagan. It offers a certified 8 km course with no major intersections and primarily uses a dedicated bike path, ideal for runners aiming to achieve personal bests.

The race is part of the 2025 Interior Running Association Road Race Series and features chip timing, water stations, souvenirs for finishers, door prizes, and prizes for top age group finishers. A kids' fun run happens after the main event, organized by UBCO Heat.
