The Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run is a challenging 30-mile (48.6 km) ultramarathon along the Baden-Powell Centennial Trail from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove in British Columbia. It features approximately 8,000 feet of ascent and 8,300 feet of descent, offering runners magnificent city, mountain, and ocean views. Recognized as one of the 25 toughest races in North America by Running Wild magazine, the event has been held annually since 1989.
The race tests endurance on technical trails through the North Shore Mountains, including the highest point at Black Mountain (4,016 feet). Competitors must complete the course within 10 hours, with cut-off times enforced from the halfway point onwards.
