

Klondike Ultra 2025
The Klondike Ultra is a weekend trail race event in June featuring multiple distances set within Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park near Edmonton. Runners enjoy diverse natural terrain including ancient sand dunes, old wagon trails, and single-track paths through boreal forests along the Athabasca River and Clearwater Creek. The event celebrates endurance and nature with finisher medals, awards, and prize money for top finishers.
Courses offer challenging elevation and scenery, with notable features such as historical sites like a grave site and trapper's cabin. Typical race weather is mild with temperatures between 10°C and 20°C and moderate humidity.
