The Klondike Ultra is a weekend trail race event in June featuring multiple distances set within Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park near Edmonton. Runners enjoy diverse natural terrain including ancient sand dunes, old wagon trails, and single-track paths through boreal forests along the Athabasca River and Clearwater Creek.
