Hintonburg 5K and 1K Kids Run 2025

The Hintonburg 5K and 1K Kids Run is a family-friendly road race held annually in Ottawa, Ontario, that turns the streets of Hintonburg into a festive and welcoming atmosphere. This event embraces walkers and runners of all levels, offering an urban course with lively community spirit.

Participants enjoy on-course water stations, post-race refreshments including cake at the finish line, and local prize draws. Strollers and dogs are welcome on the course with caution, making it an inclusive event for the whole family.

• 1K Kids Run for ages 12 and under, starts at 8:30 AM, free entry, stroller allowed with caution
• 5K Run (Youth) for ages 12 and under, starts at 9:00 AM, $20 entry, stroller allowed with caution
• 5K Run (Adults) for ages 13 and over, starts at 9:00 AM, $40 entry, stroller allowed with caution

• Start times: 1K Kids Run at 8:30 AM; 5K races at 9:00 AM

• Awards for 1st place finishers in both 5K and 1K
