* 117 km total distance with 12 relay legs (1 to 18 km each) * Road surfaces including highways and township roads * Elevation changes up to 742 m at Rock Island Hill * Passes through Sandy Lake (Sakitawaasihk) and along South Wabasca Lake * Course enters Bigstone Cree Nation (Reserve 166A) * Possible forced starts for slower teams to finish within 11.5 hours
