The Dartmouth Natal Day Road Races, established in 1907, are among the oldest road races in North America. Held annually in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the event features 2-mile and 6-mile road races on a 2-mile loop course through historic downtown Dartmouth. The races start and finish in front of the 250-year-old Christ Church on Ochterloney Street, followed by a reception and awards presentation.
The 2025 edition adapts its course due to ongoing construction, maintaining a challenging and scenic route controlled safely by police and marshals. Participants should be aware of traffic conditions and safety guidelines, including a prohibition on non-service dogs and restrictions on headphone use.
