Bronte Harbour Classic 5k 2026
The Bronte Harbour Classic 5K takes place on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Oakville, Ontario. Organized by Bronte Runners Club in partnership with TapeGeeks, GearTOP, Pace Performance and Oakville Performance Running, this is the inaugural running of a community-focused Father's Day race festival on Bronte Harbour's waterfront.
The event features a chip-timed 5K (age 13+) and a Kids 1K Fun Run (ages 2–12, adult supervision required). Both races start in the morning with an 8:00 a.m. race start; the 5K uses professional chip timing with instant results and live tracking while the Kids 1K is a non-timed fun run with a finisher medal for every participant.
What sets Bronte Harbour Classic apart is the festival that follows the morning races: an all-day waterfront celebration with live music, local food and vendor stalls, kids' activities and community booths. The course is a flat, paved out-and-back along Lakeshore Road and the harbour, making it stroller-friendly and accessible to families. Organizers direct 100% of local race proceeds to Oakville Dads Charity and other local programs, with a public fundraising goal above $25,000 for the inaugural year.
Registration is open through the official event registration system; early sign-up is recommended to secure swag choices and preferred sizes. Race-day registration is available at a higher fee. Registrations are non-refundable but transfers or deferrals are permitted per organizer policy; contact greg@tapegeeks.com or info@bronteharbourclassic5k.com for registration questions.
