
BLACK GOLD BRUTE OBSTACLE COURSE RACE 2025
The Black Gold Brute Obstacle Course Race is an annual event in Drayton Valley, Alberta, featuring up to 35 obstacles over distances of 4 km, 8 km, and 10+ km. It caters to both seasoned racers and first-timers, offering a challenging yet accessible experience. The 2025 race marks the third year of the event.
Participants can choose their race length during the course, tackling obstacles such as jumping, crawling, hanging, swinging, balancing, climbing, and carrying. Unique chance-based obstacles are also featured. The event includes competitive and open heats as well as a new team heat requiring teams of five to complete all obstacles together with special team-oriented challenges.
