The Abas Auto Stony Mountain Run is part of the MRA Classic Run Series and includes 2.5k, 5k, and 10k race distances. It is also featured in the Interlake Run Series where participants can earn a special medal by completing all four events.

This event supports the development of local trails through proceeds benefiting the Stony Mountain Trail and Parks Projects. Participants enjoy scenic loop courses around the Stony Mountain Quarry and receive a finisher's medal.
