5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Weaselhead 2025

The 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Weaselhead takes place on September 27, 2025 as the final event in the Central Alberta series. The race course highlights the stunning autumn colors of Weaselhead Flats, a 237-hectare park in southwest Calgary known for its diverse wildlife, plant life, and mixed trail surfaces including hard-packed and singletrack.

Connected to the Glenmore Reservoir trail system, the route offers varied terrain suitable for all ages and abilities, making it an inclusive event that embraces nature and community.

• Kids' Races: 1K Kids' Run (9:40 AM, Free), 3K Kids' Run (9:15 AM, entry fee not specified)
• Adult Races: Sport Course – 7.6 km (10:00 AM, $85), Enduro Course – 14.0 km (10:00 AM, $85)
• Mixed terrain includes hard-packed and singletrack trails
• Course showcases natural autumn beauty and wildlife

• No dogs, headphones, strollers, or Nordic walking poles allowed on course
• Washroom facilities available at start/finish
• Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer
• Ample parking at Weaselhead Flats parking lot and on street
• Event is cup-free; participants must bring reusable cups or containers
