Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra 2026
The Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra 2026 is the world’s coldest and toughest ultra race, challenging seasoned endurance athletes to test their limits in the heart of the Yukon winter. Established in 2003, this event is famous for its extreme conditions, with temperatures that can drop to –40°C and a course that follows the historic Yukon Quest trail.
Designed for experienced athletes, the race offers options to compete on foot, mountain bike, or cross-country skis. Participants are drawn by the chance to face remote, rugged terrain and to experience the camaraderie of a close-knit community of racers, volunteers, and supportive Yukon towns along the way.
