2026 Langley Senior Resources Society Fort Langley Historic 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
The LSRS Fort Langley Historic 5K, 10K & Half Marathon takes place February 22, 2026, in Fort Langley, British Columbia. Organized by Try Events in partnership with the Langley Senior Resources Society (LSRS), the race is presented as the 20th annual running of this community favourite and raises funds for local seniors' programs.
This is an in-person, single-day event with out-and-back courses on the Fort-to-Fort trail. Distances offered are 5K, 10K and half marathon; mass warm-up is at 8:45 a.m., the half marathon (runners only) starts at 9:00 a.m., the 10K at 9:04 a.m., and the 5K at 9:08 a.m. Runners receive individual tag timing — the timing tag must be attached to shoelaces and returned after the race to avoid a replacement fee. The course closes at noon, with a 3-hour closure window for the half marathon.
What sets this race apart is the setting: routes run along farm fields and through Derby Reach Provincial Park with sustained views of the Fraser River and Bedford Channel. Entry includes a custom souvenir finishing medal and a custom swag item, there are random draw prizes at the finish, and a bag check is available by donation. Limited parking near Bedford Plaza makes carpooling a sensible option for attendees.
Online registration closes one week before race day or when the supply cap is reached; register at the official site for entry, add-ons (race number belt, multifunctional tube, custom trucker cap), package pickup details and race-day instructions.
