The Sneaker & Strays event is an annual fun-run organized by the Humane Animal Rescue Team (hart) to raise funds and awareness for rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs. Participants can run or walk alongside their furry companions through Edmonton's River Valley.

The event includes post-race activities such as complimentary beverages, snacks, hart merchandise, and sponsor booths.
